FOX32: How does the Illinois vaccine rollout stack up to other states

Dr. Shikha Jain from the University of Illinois at Chicago talks about the state of the Illinois vaccine rollout and voices concerns of a COVID-19 bump as people return from spring break.

Some key points

🌟 Less than .001% of those vaccinated in Minnesota got #COVID19. The vaccine is not 100% effective. None of those ppl got very sick.

🌟Numbers going up means double down on risk mitigation strategies.

🌟 If traveling for spring break please look at updated state guidelines on quarantine when you return. #WearAMask stay #6FtApartAndMasked

🌟Illinois vaccination rate is picking up speed as more community engagement/ outreach is happening. Equitable and efficient distribution remains 🔑.
