Welcome to my site. I am a Hematology/Oncology physician, a wife and mother of three amazing kids (one set of twins!), a writer, a speaker and traveler.

I am a practicing, board certified hematology/oncology physician in Chicago. I have given numerous talks on a variety of topics in both hematology and oncology. My goal is to explain complicated topics in simple terms. I have given talks to physicians and non-physicians both in the community and in academic centers. I also enjoy writing and you can find some of my writing on this site.
I am mother to a strong willed three and a half year old girl and twin baby boys, and a wife to a gastroenterologist.
