Registration is open for the Women In Medicine Summit: An Evolution in Empowerment. The event will be a unification of women in healthcare, with the common goal of finding and implementing solutions towards gender equity.  On September 20-21 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, attendees will listen to nationally renowned faculty, attend breakout sessions with a focus on developing skills and leadership skills to make a difference, and have the opportunity for individual mentoring sessions and networking.  Skill building, Action Plans, Advocacy, Professional Growth, Education and Inspiration are all on the agenda.

There are also opportunities for abstract submissions and nominations for awards.

CALL FOR AWARD NOMINEES:

The three I Stand With Her awards will be awarded to individuals who have been nominated by their peers. This individual should exemplify the qualities of perseverance, resilience, leadership and/or allyship. Nominate someone today!

Original abstracts accepted for presentation at the Summit will be published this winter in a special edition of the International Journal of Academic Medicine (IJAM) dedicated to #WomenInMedicine. We have also opened 2 more categories, Perspective Pieces and Inspirational Spotlight. Submit today! Abstracts that have been published or presented previously are still eligible for presentation, but not for publication.
