Join me at ResearcHERS: Women Fighting Cancer of Illinois

Why I Support the American Cancer Society (ACS)

As an oncologist, I see so many patients facing this disease. One in three Americans will battle cancers in their lifetime. I am inspired by my patients and their families on a daily basis. As oncologists and scientists, we are always looking for ways to move the needle in cancer care.

The ACS is proud to be a supporter of women in cancer research. Currently half of the ACS’s grantees are women, most early in their careers. I have recently been chosen to be a ResearcHERS ambassador for the ACS. ResearcHERS: Women Fighting Cancer is a movement that engages women to raise funds to directly support women cancer researchers. Help raise the funds needed to fuel HER next big discovery.

Taking part in this event gives me the chance to make a difference and honor those touched by cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research and services for people dealing with cancer.

Funds raised support cancer patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives. This event also celebrates over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide. 15.5 MILLION. That’s huge. That’s why I’d love your support.

If you are able to donate, you may be funding the next groundbreaking discovery in cancer care!
